Swieqi U15s beat Zurrieq in a trilling match

26.11.16 Swieqi U15s beat Zurrieq in a trilling match

Swieqi United's under 15s aimed to build on last week's win when they faced Zurrieq at Siggiewi Ground.

Swieqi took the lead after three minutes when Daniele shot first time from a corner.  Mid way through the first half, Swieqi doubled their lead again with a goal by Daniele, his second of the day.  Moments later Zurrieq pulled one back with an unlucky mistake by the Swieqi keeper.  Minutes later, Daniele grabbed a hatrick with a lovely finish after being one on one with the keeper.  The first half finished 3-1 for Swieqi.
The second half kicked off with Swieqi attacking and creating loads of chances.  However it was Zurrieq who scored to make the score 3-2.  From now on, it was all about Swieqi creating chances but not managing to find the net.  Towards the end of the game, a penalty was awarded to Swieqi after Daniele was brought down in the box. Andrea stepped up and scored to make the final score 4-2.  Another win for Swieqi.
Swieqi play their next league game vs  Mtarfa on Sunday 11th December at 14:45 at Mellieha Ground.
