18.10.16 Seniors: Swieqi earn crucial 3 points
Swieqi United registered a crucial three points with goals coming from Patrick Briscoe White (x2) and Kenneth Ekezie. Swieqi scored after just 2 minutes when Patrick's free kick was not headed by anyone and the ball drifted into the net. The orange could have added another goal when Roderick Taliana's shot was well saved by the keeper. On the other end, Sam Bartolo's heroics kept Mellieha at bay. In the second half, a cagey affair finally ended when Kenneth Ekezie doubled the score 15 minutes from time only for Patrick Briscoe White to convert a penalty after a foul on Mark Martin.
