Mr Gavin Ellul - Events Coordinator
Gavin Ellul, 28, graduated from the University of Malta in 2010 in Science (Biology and Chemistry). Gavin specialised in Chemistry for Pharmaceutics and obtained his post-graduate diploma in 2014. Although residing in Fgura, Gavin is very much active in the Swieqi locality through his involvement with the local football club. In fact, Gavin is one of the executive founding members, having set up the club back in 2009. He spent 4 years as vice-president of the club, and contributed to the initial consolidation phases of the club.
Gavin is in his second stint at Swieqi United Football Club, having rejoined the fray after temporarily suspending his first experience at the club in 2013. Gavin attended Saint Aloysius’ College in Birkirkara and participated in several activities such as Young Enterprise, Euroscola and Malta Student Science Forum.
Gavin is also a stalwart at APL Swift Services (Malta) Ltd., an Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. company, having spent all seven years of his employment at this company. He is experienced in both the Quality Control and Quality Assurance sectors, now holding the position of Senior Technical Services Officer within the Quality Assurance department.
Gavin is a learned football follower, and avidly supports Juventus and anything black and white. He is also a strong follower of rugby union (having introduced his dear friend Michael Calleja to the sport), as well as waterpolo and basketball. His main hobbies include travelling, reading, and village festas.
